Lets Connect, activities for adults with learning disabilities

Let's Connect is our weekly programme of activities for adults with learning disabilities offering social and creative activities, including arts and craft and film making, along with indoor games and cookery.

You can take part in coffee afternoons and there are organised trips out to local attractions like Beamish Museum, the Discovery Museum and Great North Museum.

On Tuesday we have Time for Fun at 10am with indoor kurling and other games to get you up and moving and staying healthy. Let's Connect Social Group is on from 1pm, when you can be painting, making crafts, watching films, catching up with old friends and making new friends. You can learn cooking and baking and have the satisfaction of making and eating your own tea in Cookery Class from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Film Club starts again on Thursday 24 September for 12 weeks. Help to make up a story, produce and act in an original short film and attend the premier at Bullion Hall. Finally, start winding down on Friday morning, 10am to 11.30pm with Claire and enjoy trying out different arts and crafts. All activities are £2, expect Film Club.
