Facilitators Wanted
Bullion Hall is looking for an experienced male facilitator – or potentially several facilitators with different areas of expertise – to support our established weekly Men's Shed for men experiencing significant mental health and wellbeing difficulties.
The group has developed from a strong peer and lived-experience base and focuses particularly on addiction, suicide risk and mental health struggles. For the first time, new funding will enable us to introduce skilled paid facilitation alongside the experience and strengths already within the group.
Sessions will focus on:
Addictions • Anxiety, Depression & Anger Management • Suicide Prevention • Managing Change, Loss & Transition
We are looking for someone able to create a safe, respectful and non-judgmental environment, facilitate sensitive group discussions, recognise and respond appropriately to distress and safeguarding concerns, and help men develop coping strategies and realistic routes forward. Relevant experience might come from mental health, counselling, recovery/addiction services, suicide prevention, men's wellbeing, community support or social care.
Relevant lived experience is especially welcomed.
We are flexible about how the role is delivered and welcome interest in employment, secondment or specialist independent sessional work. You do not need to be an expert in all four programme areas.
