Free family friendly summer courses

Smartt's Family Learning has two free family learning courses at Bullion Hall, beginning in July.

Parent's bring you children along and the whole family can learn to confidently handle common injuries and emergencies at home, with Family First Aid Essentials, a two part course on 27 July and 17 August, 2.30 to 4.30pm. The course covers how to treat cuts, burns, sprains and bruises and CPR. Keep your family safe with practical, easy to follow bite-size learning.

Budget Friendly Meal Planning and Cooking, starting 30 July and continuing on 20 and 27 August will show you how to plan and prepare nutritious, flavourful, cost effective meals. Using versatile recipes and effective shopping strategies, the whole family can eat well without exceeding the family budget.
