Bullion Hall has had solar panels installed and generating green energy since 2011.
Towards the end of last year, we were able to replace those panels with a set of new solar panels, which now extend across the full width of our roof.
Since December when the panels began operating they have produced 21% of our energy from solar. Like many households locally, we have to cope with the demands of high energy prices. Solar helps to reduce the burden while also aiding the environment. during the 2 months since the panels were installed we have saved over 173kg in CO2 emissions, the equivalent of planting 10 trees. If you want to see for yourself how much power our new solar panels are generating and how much CO2 we are not emitting into the atmosphere visit our Live Energy Feed webpage.
